Hi everyone,
There have been several updates from Gladys over the last few weeks, and in the euphoria I havenāt even posted a message on the forum
So Iām making a little post summarizing the latest news!
LAN Manager integration
New integration, developed by @AlexTrovato who is on fire right now
This integration allows you to scan your network, to find devices (example: your phone). Then, on the same model as the Bluetooth integration, you can put yourself as āPresent/Absentā of the house in a scene.
The integration is still in ābreak-inā, each network is different and we still discover small fixes to correct. Donāt hesitate to give your feedback on the forum if you have any
OpenWeather integration fixed
OpenWeather integration now works with the new API keys
OpenWeather had changed their API rules and our integration was using an API route that was no longer available in the free API.
I changed the integration to other free routes!
New action in scenes
@Romuald_Pochet has worked on the possibility to āreverseā lights/plugs in scenes, which will greatly reduce the number of scenes!
**Improvement of the dashboard display
On the dashboard, some colors were not ālogicalā.
If you have a water leak, the āYesā should not be green but red: itās serious a leak!
If your power consumption is decreasing, the down arrow should be green, not red (this is positive!)
If there are some missing devices, donāt hesitate to post a message and weāll change it
Current projects
There are a lot of projects in progress
-
@AlexTrovato is working on improving the Zigbee2mqtt integration during the first configuration, with a new interface. He showed me, itās really clean
- The famous camera live is coming soon!
- Quite a few new integrations in the works (NextcloudTalk, Yeelight ā looking for testers, ZwaveJS ā looking for testers too )
Changelog
How to upgrade
If you have installed Gladys with the official Raspberry Pi OS image, your instances will update automatically in the next few hours. This can take up to 24 hours, so donāt panic.
If you installed Gladys with Docker, check that you are using Watchtower (See the documentation )
