It’s Monday, and I’m taking the opportunity to release Gladys Assistant 4.60 with a few new features!
New device type: Electric Vehicle
You can now add electric vehicles in Gladys, paving the way for future integrations with EV chargers and electric cars.
For now, this is just the first step — native categories are available and already supported via the MQTT integration. Work is currently in progress to integrate Tesla vehicles!

Fix: User unit preferences
A bug that prevented user unit preferences (Celsius/Fahrenheit, etc.) from loading correctly on the first login has been fixed.
Improved error messages in the “Chart” widget
HTTP errors are now clearly displayed in the UI when loading charts, for better understanding in case something goes wrong.
Clearer logs
HTTP 500 errors are now logged with a warning level instead of trace, making them easier to spot in the Gladys logs.
