I’m releasing today a new version of Gladys, with a new type of devices: Thermostat 
The feature is only available for now in the MQTT integration, but I hope developers will integrate this new type of devices in other integrations.
A non-blocking way of deleting devices
In the past, when deleting a device with lots of states, Gladys was un-responsive for a bit because it has to delete potentially millions of rows in the database, taking all the disk-bandwidth available.
We now have a new task that will slowly delete all states in background when deleting a device, instead of blocking the database while deleting everything.

How to upgrade Gladys?
If you installed Gladys with the official Raspberry Pi OS image, your instance will update automatically in the coming hours. It can take up to 24 hours, don’t panic.
If you installed Gladys with Docker, make sure you are using Watchtower. See the documentation.
With Watchtower, Gladys will update automatically.
