Connecting a Socket Plug 2.4GHz (from SmartLife)

Hi all,

Am interested in knowing (if possible), how to connect a plug which is currently paired with SmartLife, to move it on to Gladys. This is a 2.4GHz WiFi only device (not zigbee) sitting on the same network as the Gladys host.

The preference is to have it connect directly to Gladys. Any ideas please?

Hi @gociii !

If the socket has an HTTP API, you could make HTTP requests in scenes to the plug, but it’s a bit “hacky”.

If you want truely local control, switch to a Zigbee plug, there are some very affordable ones :slight_smile:
